Cameron's Garden

Cameron

As a MomsBloom volunteer I loved helping families adjust to life with a new baby.  I never thought about the nightmare that happens when that new baby you have been expecting does not come home.  That nightmare became a reality for our family.  Our daughter, Cameron was stillborn at 20 wks.  Cameron's garden was founded to be a resource for all families that have suffered the loss of a baby, be it miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.  All donations to Cameron's Garden will go towards providing resources for these families, Information, literature, and peer support. - Lesley

A letter Lesley wrote to her friends and family:

Dear Family and Friends,

We are very thankful for all of your love and support. We wanted to let you know that we are home now. It is a very difficult time for us and the journey to recovery is just beginning. We expect many bumps along the way and we know it will not be easy, but knowing that God is by our side, blessing us with all of you we will make it through.

Lesley was admitted to the OB special care unit on Friday for induction. She delivered our sweet baby girl Cameron Diane at 8:07 am on Saturday, January 17th. She was a tiny 9oz and 9.5 inches long. We were able to have our Deacon come to the hospital for a small private service. We spent most of the day recovering and saying our goodbyes. Probably the hardest thing we have ever had to do.

The hospital staff was absolutely wonderful in helping us through the first part of this difficult journey. We are so blessed to have been cared for by such a caring and dedicated staff.

Memorial contributions for those wishing to do so, can be made to MomsBloom in Cameron's name.

Thank you again for everything!
Nathan, Lesley, Zach, and Mitchell
