Meet Our Board Members

Jacqueline Bos

Board Chair

  • Jacqueline is native to Grand Rapids, a CPA, and graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She started her career in public accounting at BDO USA, LLP and spent over five years working in the assurance department. She now works at Acrisure, LLC, a fast-growing insurance broker based in Greater Grand Rapids. While Jacqueline is not a mother yet, she believes in the need for supporting new moms and in the the mission of MomsBloom, and is honored to serve on the board.

Jan Anderson

Board Member

  • Jan Anderson, formerly an equity shareholder of the national law firm Polsinelli, PC, retired from the active practice of healthcare law on November 1, 2018. Jan was a critical care nurse prior to law school. She has over 45 years of experience working in the healthcare industry and 35 years of experience as a healthcare attorney. Jan has worked as both an advisor to and member of numerous boards of nonprofit organizations. Jan became involved with Moms Bloom when she experienced first-hand the difficulties that some new mothers encounter and recognized the pressing need to help new moms get through the initial postpartum period. Upon learning of Moms Bloom more than a year ago, Jan joined the Advisory Board for Ottawa County has been involved in that capacity ever since. Jan has two children and three grandchildren with twin grandchildren on the way.

Kathy Noble

Board Member

  • Kathy moved to West Michigan after retiring as a 20 year first grade teacher. She was seeking ways to support families with new babies and upon the recommendation of her daughter(an OB/GYN nurse), she became involved with MomsBloom and has been matched with 30 families since 2021, including 2 sets of twins and 2 sets of triplets! Kathy holds degrees in business and education and has experience managing retail stores, pharmacy support desks, and supporting student teachers.  Her family includes daughter Brittany, a social worker in Denver (spouse Em) and daughter Collette (spouse Reid), and two adorable grandchildren. She is passionate about supporting families all over West Michigan and looks forward to expanding her role with MomsBloom by serving on the board. Kathy is an avid reader and an experienced yoga instructor.

Alyssa White

Board Member

  • Alyssa is from Kalamazoo and moved to Grand Rapids after receiving her BBA in Marketing & Management from Grand Valley State University. She has hands-on experience working with pregnant and postpartum families, both as a MomsBloom volunteer and in her work through AmeriCorps member at a nonprofit called Maggie's Place. An active volunteer since 2019, Alyssa has served over 8 postpartum families, along with serving on the outreach committee, conducting intake visits, and assisting with the summer yoga series. She loves everything MomsBloom stands for and is passionate about helping families and their children. She currently works as an Omnichannel Associate Manager at Acosta.

Melissa Graham

Board Vice Chair

  • Melissa Graham is a principal consultant and co-founder of Elevate Together, a social impact driven consulting firm specializing in supporting nonprofits and small businesses. She has a decade of international nonprofit experience in partnership cultivation, new business development, program management, curriculum development, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation; and stakeholder relations. Melissa has worked as a consultant for USAID, creating a study to evaluate the complex impact of remittances on girl’s access to education in Morocco. She also has experience in the corporate sector, leading CSR efforts to create employment program partnerships with non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts degree from the George Washington University.

Dani Fournier

Board Member

  • Dani is the Team Lead for the KEEP Program (Keep Early Education Positive) at Arbor Circle. She is a licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan and is working toward her Infant Mental Health Endorsement through the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health. Dani received her Bachelor's in Social Work from MSU in 2020, and her Master's in Social Work with a focus in the Welfare of Children and Families and a School Social Work certification in from the University of Michigan in 2021. Dani is passionate about promoting strong and secure attachment relationships between young children and their caregivers, both in the home and at school, and working to disrupt the preschool to prison pipeline. Dani has a background in Juvenile Court Advocacy, Restorative Justice, School Social Work, and Infant Mental Health. Dani believes that the first years of life are critical to later in life outcomes, and believes in the power of relationships and community care. She is grateful to be serving on the MomsBloom Board and for the opportunity to contribute to the organization's growth!

Amber Soler

Board Member

  • Amber is a Grand Rapids native and full time family focused attorney. She currently practices estate planning and probate litigation at Miller Johnson. As a wife and mom to two busy boys, she understands the struggles and emotional waves that can come with an expanding family. She has a passion for advocating for moms and families as they navigate their way through their new life changes. Amber joined the board of MomsBloom in 2024 and continues supporting their mission of serving local families.

Erica Getz

Board Member

  • Erica has been proud to call Grand Rapids home since 2020. She is a physical therapist at Corewell Health who specializes in treating pelvic health dysfunction as well as the perinatal population. As a twin mother, she was a lucky recipient of a Momsbloom volunteer and truly cherished her generosity. With how much this volunteer made a positive impact on her postpartum life, and by using her knowledge of the specialized care a mother deserves, Erica is excited to join the board to make a positive impact in her community.

Emily Paszkowski

Board Treasurer

  • Emily Paszkowski is a Shareholder at Hungerford Nichols CPAs + Advisors, specializing in business accounting and fraud and litigation support. She is a mom to twin boys and first learned about MomsBloom through the social workers at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Emily recognizes that it takes a village to raise a family and values MomsBloom as an essential resource for postpartum support. She hopes that by serving on the board, she can lend her professional experience to support the growth of MomsBloom. In her free time, Emily enjoys date nights with her husband and finding ways to teach her boys about the things she loves, including making waffles on the weekend, going to the library or taking them for runs in her double stroller.

Rachelle McKissick-Harris

  • Rachelle is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a professional consulting company that specializes in parent leadership skill building and early childhood advocacy. Rachelle has served Michigan communities for over 20 years with experience in early childhood, Human Resources, and diversity, equity and inclusion. As a life-long learner, Rachelle's mission is to improve the quality of childcare and parent resources across West Michigan.

Lisa Town

Board Member

  • A lifelong Michigander, Lisa has called Grand Rapids home since 2000. With a background in financial services and a strong commitment to community service, she has served on numerous boards for nearly two decades. A dedicated MomsBloom volunteer since 2014, Lisa is passionate about supporting new parents during those challenging, yet rewarding, early months. Having raised two teenage sons alongside her husband, Taggart, she understands the joys and challenges of parenthood. Lisa cherishes the opportunity to offer comfort, encouragement, and practical advice to new families.

Jeren Ghoujeghi

Board Member

  • Jeren is a medical student at Michigan State University, pursuing a career in OB/GYN. Originally from Metropolitan Detroit, she earned her B.S. in Public Health Honors from Wayne State University. Since 2020, Jeren has been actively involved in women’s health research, advocacy, and community engagement, with work spanning the donation of 10,000 menstrual products, providing care for unhoused pregnant women, and promoting equitable maternal health policies on Capitol Hill. Jeren has served as a postpartum volunteer, and she is currently conducting research in maternal mental health. As a Board Member, Jeren is excited to expand MomsBloom’s programs and engage with the local community to advance the organization’s mission of supporting mothers and families during the transformative postpartum period.

Joslyn Ward , Board Member - In Memoriam

Joslyn and her husband, Cory, are honored to raise two energetic, loving, and courageous Kings. Joslyn is an advocate for families and uses her voice and experience to encourage, support, and empower families to use their voices. Joslyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Special Education from Grand Valley State University and her MBA from Davenport University. As a mom of two children, Joslyn knows the importance of supporting new mommas. She believes that no matter how a family looks, they deserve to be supported, which is why she is excited to be a part of the MomsBloom board.

Joslyn passed away unexpectedly in March of 2024 after giving birth to twins. Her impact on MomsBloom was profound and we wish to always honor her service.
